This pattern combines a traditional granny square with a solid granny square which is one of my favorite things to do. It’s a simple design that produces beautiful results - my favorite kind of pattern! Done in classic fall colors, this table cover will set the stage for autumn decor in your home. I admired this pattern last winter but didn’t buy the kit till recently, so I changed up the colors to make a spring/summer version. I’m happy with it. Pattern is straightforward and I’m looking forward to making the leaves. Only one thought: is it really necessary to cut yarn even when keeping the same color? I just slip stitched to the corner and kept yarn in one piece as often as I could!
This works up beautiful and was not hard at all. I enjoyed making it. And look forward to making another one on Christmas colors. The colors in this one made a beautiful addition to my breakfast nook table.
Liked the pattern, especially for the leaf coasters. There was enough yarn for 6 small and 6 large ones.
