Love this yarn!

I just love working with this yarn and the feel of it. I have used it to make shawls , a cardigan, and a beach cover-up. Will definitely be buying more in the future

Comfy is the perfect word for this yarn

I have purchased this yarn in several colorways and have used it for various projects. I made a shawl, two very different throws, a summer open weave cardi-vest and a really squishy little teddy bear. This is a versatile and really fun yarn to use. I found no knots and had no trouble with tangles. It is easy to frog- the 3 weight is just right for so many projects. Whipped Cream is sooo luxurious - it has become my favorite white yarn for borders and trims.

Soft but….

I wanted to love this. It is so soft and the drape looks nice. But……
This yarn splits and bunches up so my project looks loose or not neat. The color is lovely and I love the feel but my hook kept getting stuck or it would pull off a piece from the previous stitch. It is so loosely wound that it didn’t have a chance. I know I’m a tight crocheter, but the yarn shouldn’t unravel and have a thread spiral up. It’s a mess. I wish it weren’t because it would be my go to garment yarn. But that will be it after I’m done my project. If sticks because I love the color and feel. Oh well.

Hello Jennifer - our apologies that this yarn didn't work as well for you! You may want to try working from the other end of the ball to see if that helps with the issue of the yarn unraveling, as you may be working against the twist of the yarn without realizing it.

Great Yarn But Heavy Worsted!

I designed a knitted short sleeve pullover sweater for this yarn using a US 8. (First non- lace sweater in years) It's beautiful, but still heavier than most of my summer sweaters. It took almost all of 2 cakes (I am a loose knitter and made a size large.) But the yarn (Flower Garden) is so pretty I got 2 more cakes of Ocean Breeze to make another sweater. I'll either go to a 9 or knit a lace pattern. This yarn has no splitting and only 1 knot in2 cakes. Even frogging to make sleeve edges different , didn't hurt the yarn. This would make a lovely cardigan .I'll love it for Fall. I like interrupting the variegated yarn with solid stripes. This yarn is so soft while being very strong and springy. It bounces back into shape and doesn't stretch out. I've designed and made well over 100 sweaters and this is one of the nicest yarns and best value I've ever knitted with. My only connection to Lion Brand is I like to watch Vanna White on wheel of Fortune.

Very soft!

I got 5 cakes 75% off at a local store and whipped up an entire blanket in just a few days. This stuff is super soft! I haven't noticed any major splitting issues, but there are ~2-4 knots per cake. If I find that deal again, I'm gonna clear them out! Also, this is definitely worsted, not DK
