Color Theory Light Worsted Weight Yarn

Two of Wands designer Alexi Tavel has brought her sense of color to this aptly-named worsted-weight yarn. I really like the feel of this yarn, made a beautiful baby blanket. My issue is that within the first few feet of the skein there were two sets of knots connecting new yarn, the second of which promptly unraveled and I had to start over.
We are so sorry you experienced quality issues! Occasionally the mill will need to join a new strand in as the yarn is being wound, or the equipment will cause a small imperfection to occur. When you encounter a knot or small imperfection, simply cut that section from the yarn and rejoin just as if you were starting a new ball (i.e., leave a tail of 4-6' to be woven in later, then begin working with the new section, leaving another 4-6' tail to be woven in).
The yarn is really nice to work with a good hand feel. It turned out it is a “Z” twist yarn which results in a stockinette stitch that has a vertical line and half a “v”and the garment I am making is stockinette. The color is much darker than it appears online (peacock).
The 24/7 Cotton DK Prints yarn is perfect for a beach side coverup. Great for crocheting and the color combo is really nice.
This was my first time using this yarn, and it was a pleasure to crochet with. The yarn is soft, glides easily on the hook and worked up quite nicely for my project. I would definitely buy again. I do wish it came in more vibrant colors because if so I would definitely buy more.
After making my afghan from the Ferris Wheel yarn, my husband wanted one too.
It took a week to decide what yarn and color combination but now feel confident of our choices. We chose Tourmaline, Raisin and Moonbeam with a Chevron stripe pattern. I'm 3/4 done and have enjoyed working with the Color Theory yarn. It is so soft and behaves well. No knots and a consistent thickness.
We are excited to see this piece finished and laundered so we can both snuggle up in our blankies.
I love the softness. I also love that everyone though it’s soft, it’s not just for fall and winter but also spring and summer which I think is absolutely amazing. As a knitter, I work with a lot of different yarns and a lot of them are only for fall and winter but I just love working with this yarn so much. It glides through my fingers very smoothly and I love how it feels. I highly recommend this yarn if you want to make all season projects because this works for both spring, summer, fall, and winter.
I even made this cute beanie in this yarn.
