This pattern works up so fast, I was able to make this in just under two hours (and that's with frogging a row when I miscounted). It's a wee bit small for my big head, so it's gone as a gift to the daughter of a dear friend, but I have plenty of the yarn left over to make a second one for me. I love love love the texture, and the instructions were extremely clear and easy to follow. An excellent choice for an adventurous beginner!

Made two of these hats as Christmas gifts. The pattern was well written and easy to follow. I wanted the hat to be a little longer so I added a pattern repeat and it worked great.
