Broken Cables

Currently knitting this pattern and I'm loving it so far. I'm knitting it with Wool Ease in Rainforest.

This is the penultimate draft (I suggest)

Given that no one has posted a review in years and no one has created a Ravelry project page, I suspect that I'm not alone in thinking this pattern didn't hit the bulls-eye style-wise. Yet, the concept is interesting. If you updated this with simple I-cord edging all-around, I think it would look better and have more appeal. Having three different edges looks messy and inconsistent in design whereas the broken cables alone (would) carry the concept. I'd rather not do the math myself but would knit the update!
