Even before it is spun into a premium 4-ply acrylic, the fiber is treated to resist pilling. And, when pills do form (due to frequent use and washing), no need to pick them off - just throw the item in the washer and the pills disappear.

Ok where to start?! I LOVE this yarn for so many reasons. Great colors, stitch definition, no pilling, no splitting. I think the name ‘Basic Stitch’ does this yarn a huge disservice. It makes it sound like ‘bottom rung’ yarn, and it’s not! It’s wonderful in the hand and everything I’ve made has turned out fabulous! Super soft, perfect for baby blankets and baby hoodies. I wash in a laundry bag and dry out of the bag on low heat and it turns into the softest plush amazing feel. You will not be disappointed!
This yarn is really wonderful for a big project like a crocheted blanket. I’ve been using it for a Moss Stitch Temperature Blanket and it is quite beautiful, soft but sturdy enough to create a nice tension. Currently some shipping delays but otherwise no complaints!
