Basic Stitch Anti Pilling™ Yarn

SKU: 202-405K

$5.99

Lion Brand® created Basic Stitch Anti-Pilling™ for all your favorite projects that see a lot of wear and tear. Even before it is spun into a premium 4-ply acrylic, the fiber is treated to resist pilling. And, when pills do form (due to frequent use and washing), no need to pick them off - just throw the item in the washer and the pills disappear.

Love it!

I love Basic Stitch so much! They are easy to crochet and very warm for winter clothes 💗💗💗

Miss the previous version

I was hoping Basic Stitch/Skein Tones would be the same as the previous Basic Stitch, but it is not. This yarn was once a matte finish, but now it has a sheen and also squeaks when worked. I am returning it all, sadly.

The picture shows the old version in Ivory on the left and the new shiny version on the right.

Hello Mere - our apologies that this yarn won't work for your project! While Basic Stitch Anti-Pilling is very similar to the now-discontinued Basic Stitch Premium, they so have a different surface texture.

C2C afghan

I have started working on a special C2C afghan, and the yellow and black will really make the main subjects stand out. This is really going to turn out fantastic! I love working with the anti pilling yarn, in previous projects, including my Warrior crowns for ill friends, it has an incredible effect!

Love this Color

The Pumpkin Color got me! It’s a soft yarn to work with and it works up beautifully

Soft and Strong

I use this yarn often for those who can’t wear wool. It is so soft and warm and recently I found out how durable it is. I accidentally got stuck to a 6” piece of Velcro and I thought I damaged my shawl. I was able to pull off the Velcro, ease the stitches back in place and no one can see the difference.
