this will take more than 5 balls of yarn

This is easy to read and I enjoy making it. I have already used 2 balls of quick and thick yarn and only did 9 rows. I believe it will take much more than the suggested 5 balls of yarn.

Hi Bethany - make sure that you're matching the blocked gauge given in the pattern. If your gauge is smaller/tighter it will likely take you more yarn to get the same finished length as the pattern states.

Complicated looking but very easy. I made it in red, white, and blue to be gifted to a veteran.
