Stitchfinder Knitting Pattern Lace Rib

Lace Rib (multiple of 6 sts plus 2)

Note: the instructions below are a generic description of how to execute this stitch pattern. For a single repeat, you'd only need eight stitches (6 + 2) but you'd have a VERY narrow piece! In the example shown, there are four repeats of the stitch, so to make a swatch that looks like the one shown, you need to cast on 26 stitches (4 x the multiple of 6 plus 2 extra stitches.)

Rows 1 and 3 (WS) *P2, k1; rep from *, end p2.
Row 2 *K2, p1, yo, ssk, p1; rep from *, end k2.
Row 4 *K2, p1, k2tog, yo, p1; rep from *, end k2.
Rep rows 1-4.
