The skeins in my second order of Hue + Me Desert colorway were thinner (more wraps per inch) than my previous order. I had underestimated the amount of yarn that I would need for my blanket and therefore needed to reorder. That unfortunate mistake is causing me to add stitches and change needle size to prevent the blanket from becoming narrower with the thinner yarn.
Usually I purchase all that I will need at the same time so that it’s all from the same dye lot, but I am disappointed this time — in myself and in Lion Brand.
This makes a soft, cozy blanket.
I'm a beginner knitter, and I made a cardigan, step by step... I am amazed! Such a pretty pattern. I love my new sweater. You can't tell in this pic, but the color is a great khaki green. LOVE IT. I also love the pattern ideas Lion Brand sends in their newsletter. I'm going to buy a kit and try crocheting a blanket. I've been enjoying my new hobby.
Got the shawl crocheted in just a few days, only need to make and attach the tassels. Started a different shawl with more of this yarn and it is coming out great. Very easy to crochet with, very fast, glides beautiful on my hooks.
The colors of the Hue & Me yarns are stunning. I loved working up this pattern and it looks amazing. I’ve had so many ask me where did I get this. Proudly I say I made it and here’s where/weee ;)
Been a long time since I can say I loved crocheting with this Hue &Me yarn so soft and easy to stitch, no splitting. Will buy again.
