Yes, I knew that the weight was listed as worsted but the dyed colors, especially the red, much thicker than I expected. I can work with it, but will know better next time. The green and red were very close if not spot on the colors shown online although the green photographs more on the blue side. Upon opening the shipping carton the white appeared to be a dirty white; thankfully it knits alongside the green and red as a cleaner tweed.
I like the quality of this yarn. I used this yarn to knit the "Light It Up Yoke" sweater and it came out really nice. I would buy this yarn again.
I'm usually a 100% wool knitter. I decided to try Wool Ease because I like how it feels and I was curious if the easy care was true. I knit a pullover and was delighted with it! I have continued knitting sweaters with it and love it! I especially like that knitting for others, I'm not burdening my giftee with the hand washing and drying that comes with all wool.
Recently I knit my favorite pullover sweater ever with Wool Ease; using a Lett Lopi pattern! (Gjof). Wool ease is a perfect substitute and the sweater is fabulous! I added Elizabeth Zimmerman's short row trick at the back of the neck to easily distinguish front from back. The only downside to using Wool Ease with lettlopi patterns comes with the cardigan patterns; not being 100% Wool, I don't recommend the cutting up the middle for the button band because the cut side won't felt like it would with wool. So I knit these cardigan patterns back and forth instead of knitting them circular and cutting for the button band.
This yarn really is the perfect blend of wool and acrylic. It has a really nice feel as opposed to the cheap/strange feel of some acrylics. Enough acrylic for easy care, and enough wool for a beautiful feel and lovely stitch definition. It displays cables and travelling stitches nicely too! My new favorite yarn!
I hope this line is around for many years to come!
I’m using this yarn to crochet a blanket. I’m new to crocheting but found this yarn easy to use. The color is beautiful.
This yarn is great for my craft projects. I unfortunately do not know how to knit. But I love doing crafts.

Very soft yarn, great for scarves, wraps, sweaters. I’m making a wrap, and live in a mild climate, so this yarn isn’t super think or heavy, it’s perfect for my projects.
