Hi Sara - the re-released Woolspun is not exactly the same as the original version, but is as close as we could come to replicating it. If you haven't already, we suggest washing or blocking the item, as that can affect the feel of the yarn.

I'm so glad Woolspun is back. It's a great product - machine washes and dries beautifully. I hope Lion Brand brings it back permanently!

Woolspun Yarn

Woolspun is a mediocre yarn. It is not as good as "Color Made Easy" yarn
which is very silky and soft. Too bad that it was discontinued. I would have
much preferred the Color Made Easy yarn.
