Make way for Mac-Re-Me! Macramé crafting continues to soar in popularity, and we created a super bulky (CYC #6) 100% recycled cotton yarn that’s perfect for the craft – and for your knitting and crochet projects, too! The way the yarn is twisted allows you to comb the ends for fringe to get the classic macramé look. From soothing neutrals to more saturated hues, choose your favorite colors to create home décor projects like plant hangers and wall hangings, plus shawls, jewelry, and gifts.

Check out our video series on macramé techniques!

Tricky but beautiful

I used this to crochet mug rugs and yes, it was tricky to get used to this yarn but once you do, it's wonderful. The colors I chose coordinated beautifully and I immediately ordered every other color to make more.

Somethin new for me!!!!

I'm tired of making sweaters and scarves for everyone so I bought Macreme to try something different. My newest project is making rugs. Now all my friends are going to get red rugs to put at their front door. Red doors and red rugs are supposed to bring goodness into households. So all my friends, get ready!!!! :))))

No pills!

At first I thought the Mac re me recycled cotton was hard to work with, BUT please please please don't give it up! Once you get used to all the strans it gets easier and easier. For those of you who have mentioned in your reviews that it's hard to work with, I can't stress enough to not give up! It is all I use at the moment for crocheting blankets, baby blankets, dish and face cloths, rugs, scarves, and place mats. It makes a thick warm attractive unique cover for your bed! My daughter loves hers! It also works up really fast, once you get comfortable working with it. I'm excited to expand to creating other projects with it, like planters and a teddy bear for a grand child.

So far it is the best yarn

The macrame cotton yarn is easy to work with, also it is very soft. Additionally for me is very important that the yarn is 100% recycled. I made a beautiful macrame angels for Christmas.
