This yarn feels softer and fuzzier than the usual chenille. I'm using it for this waffle blanket and it's perfect! I like that it's medium weight because most chenille is chunkier and that limits the patterns I can use. I'm excited to use this in more stuff! Fuzzy sweaters and cardigans are in right now so I might do that...
I got a bunch of this yarn in multiple colors to knit Christmas presents with (hats and ear coverings mostly, but I do plan to try it with gloves soon). This yarn knits up great and stays super soft. It isn’t harsh on my hands and I don’t get any like “yarn burn” when working with it for long periods of time. I knitted with a slightly loser gage so each skein went a long way and I even have some left over for personal projects. It doesn’t shed like other yarn in this category does; the only time I noticed any shedding is when weaving in ends. The only reason I docked a star is because of a lack of stitch definition which makes it hard to see what you are doing sometimes and the fact that it took wayyyyyy longer then normal to arrive. I did order a bit closer to Christmas then I probably should have but it still took over twice as long as normal to even ship out.
As mentioned in other reviews this yarn sheds and is uneven. It is very soft. It is hard to clearly see your stitches. It tangles and sheds a lot when sewing with it to where you can see the filament.
amazing yarn so soft and easy to use. I love making teddy bears with this yarn.
Very nice yarn, super soft, it does shed a little when crocheting...but I intend to buy more...Mame
I love the Chenille Appeal yarn. I bought Rose Taupe, Rose Dawn & Storm Front to make myself a blanket. Haven’t finished yet but will soon.
