Beautiful yarn

I love the feel of this yarn and the brilliant rich colors. It is my first choice for baby shower gifts because of the soft texture. The two blankets from Vanna’s collection came out beautifully.

Good for projects

This yarn is lovely and I like that it gives back to St. Jude's. However my one complaint is I've been crocheting with it and it tends to split/get caught into other stitches when it shouldn't. I know this is a problem with all yarns, but it keeps happening quite often with this one so knocking off one star. It's a minor inconvenience but nothing to deter me from buying more! I made these adorable amigurimi (patterns courtesy of Knot Monsters) for a 1st birthday gift and am so excited to gift them.

Love Vanna's Choice Lion Brand Yarns!

I have purchased multiple different types of this Lion brand Vanna's Choice yarn for crocheting blankets/throws. It is so easy to work with, the colors are true, and the crochet designs stand out reliably. It is among the top brands I purchase for this particular type of project. Super pleased with this yarn and happy to provide this review. I hope others find it helpful.

A perfect weight

I bought this yarn in a dozen different colors.
I'm using it to knit a 2026 temperature snake (yes snake, which surely I will keep up with all year).
It's exactly the correct weight, and I love how it's turning out.

Stunning Detail with this yarn!

I only just discovered this Vanna’s Choice last year and have started three projects, I love it so much. It’s a substantial yarn, yet soft, and with crocheting it rarely splits. The stitch details really stand out. I love that you can either wash or dry clean it, depending on the project, I might prefer to dry clean. One drawback would be the low yardage per skein; in making floral squares, using a 5.0 crochet hook, I can only get 3 squares out of a skein. I recently finished a queen-sized afghan, 56 squares plus a wide border required 24 skeins total. So not cheap, so about $140 with tax and shipping. I used the color called linen. (Pictured) About every fourth skein I would run into a cut. I guess that’s about par. I have another project I’m working on in the Vanna’s Choice dusty purple and the skeins seem to be several yards shorter than the linen color, which makes a big difference for me. Still, I love this yarn.
