I used this yarn to make a helmet for my friend’s baby’s Halloween costume. I’m still fairly new to crochet and still exploring different fiber options, but this is my second time using the Wool Ease line and I really love this blend. It was easy to use; didn’t split. I don’t recall any factory knots. I was struggling to get the size right, so I had to frog quite a bit, and it was mostly fine. I think once or twice, it got a little caught up and I had to finesse it, but mostly it frogged easily. And the end product was still so soft, despite the small tight stitches. I’m confident this will keep his head warm and cozy while they go trick or treating. I will definitely continue to use Wool Ease.
I used this yarn with the Mandela ombré yarn. The perfect addition to bring more texture and just a touch of highlight.
I love this yarn and am currently making a sweater for myself with it. I’ll also make a matching beanie. It’s super user friendly. A little stiff but not too bad.

I was looking for a beautiful DK weight yarn to crochet a new hat design, and Wool-Ease was perfect for my Ophelia hat! Lightweight so the hat is not too bulky, but still enough for a warm winter hat.
This yarn is perfect for garments that don't feel extra bulky but are still warm enough for those cold days. Fairly soft and easy to work with, only snagged a little when I had to frog some parts.
This yarn is pretty soft for an acrylic yarn and has good stitch definition. I would buy it again when needing a washable dk yarn.
