Knitting Pattern: Ripple Pattern

Ripple Pattern

(multiple of 18 sts)

Note: the instructions below are a generic description of how to execute this stitch pattern. For a single repeat, you'd only need eighteen stitches but you'd have a VERY narrow piece! In the example shown, there are two repeats of the stitch, so to make a swatch that looks like the one shown, you need to cast on 36 stitches (2 x the multiple of 18 stitches needed for a single repeat of the pattern.)

Row 1 (RS) *[K2tog] 3 times, [k1, yo] 6 times, [k2tog] 3 times; rep from * to end.
Rows 2 and 3 Knit.
Row 4 Purl.
Rep rows 1-4.
