Mandala® Ombre Yarn

Each color in Mandala® Ombré gradually blends into the other in both tonal and multi-colored versions. The printing technique allows for some of the cream yarn base to show through, creating a hand-dyed, artisanal effect. Mandala Ombré is slightly thicker than the original, spun with multiple plies of premium acrylic, which give it the look and feel of merino at a fraction of the cost.

This is a beautiful soft yarn. Perfect for a baby or lap blanket! I divide yarns like this into their individual colors to create a patchwork pattern. It creates perfectly coordinated colors.
Soft yarn & no problems with splitting. Used it for the Painted Sky baby blanket which is a super easy pattern. The blanket turned out pretty and more importantly is soft for my grandson and will be easy-care, and it didn't cost a fortune! I chose color Mantra but would enjoy more color options. I would use this yarn again. As for the pattern, I cast on 125 sts, which is 20 sts more than the pattern called for and still ended up at only 30” wide so I am glad I cast on extra. (I ordered an extra ball since I increased the size and received a different dye lot but it matched perfectly.)
I used this yarn to make a blanket. It came out quite nicely. The yarn is smooth and vibrant.
I love all the Mandala yarns for all kinds of projects. I am learning to crochet and have attached a photo of a wave pattern using Ombre. I love that it mimics the colors of the ocean. I also attached another project I'm knitting with a non-Ombre Mandala. It creates wonderful stripes!
