Favorite yarn for Christmas stockings

I use Tampa Spice, Ashland Pine, and Huston Cream to make Christmas Stockings as gifts for friends and family I absolutely LOVE these 3 colors for the holidays and I love working with this yarn. It's so smooth, soft and durable I feel like these stockings will hold up for years to come!

Hometown corgi

I used hometown to crochet a corgi. The soft thick yarn gave good coverage. Perfect for a stuffed animal. Only difficulty is the separating of the strands. I had to use a small crochet hook for extra tight stitches and I kept dropping a strand. With the proper size hook I’m sure that wouldn’t be a problem.

Great Yarn! Correct Size For Super Chunky

I really enjoy working with the super chunky, Lion brand yarn; it's fun and easy. It makes your projects look great. I prefer Lion brand yarn over others because it's the correct thickness for super chunky. Other brands just fall short and do not live up to the super chunky size and the project just does not come out as expected or as clean looking. The color of this yarn was perfect. Keep up the good work.

Twist was interesting to learn

The yarn has a loose twist for the ply, makes for a soft, kind of sloppy, soft and spongy- on a good way. Just takes a minute to learn how to work with, just like any other medium you need to learn its language. Just wish the alternative colors, I got the teal, tan, and white came in bigger skeins.

Smooth yarn to work with

I wasn't sure I was going to like crocheting with super bulky yarn, but this Hometown has been very enjoyable to work with. Stitching is very smooth and the color - Reseda Dojo - is lovely.
