I love the pounds of love yarn. Makes it easier for creating my lap afghans. I donate them to Hiss church for hospitals, seniors ect. Yarn is soft, easy to work with. Makes a beautiful granny square.
The more I use Pound of Love yarn, the more I like it. Recently I've been crocheting lap blankets, my cat Frankly loves his blanket also. This yarn is soft and the colors are pretty. It's nice having the large skeins so I don't have to stop often unless I change colors. I recommend this yarn.
I like the pound of love yarn and enjoy working with. It's soft and the 4 weight is what I prefer to use. I got the Pastel Pink and Thistle for the 1st time hoping it was a light baby pink but it's more of a bubblegum color, not what it appeared to be on the website photo. The Thistle is a muted purple, but pretty. Other than the colors not as expected, it's a nice yarn. Where I live there's only two places that carries it so I order online. The price is a lot better at Lion Brand than other sources. I only wish the skeins had a center pull, people that knit and crochet it makes it easier to use.
Pound of Love is my go-to yarn for most of the blankets I make for Project Linus. Lots of colors, great quality, washes well. The large skeins are cost-effective for my self-imposed budget of getting a least 2 blankets made per month for donation.
I really love this yarn. The pounds really works for me and have brought many in different colors. Would like to buy more in Ombré colors hoping Lions would consider adding to collection. The only thing that bothered me was the yarn’s center pull was not for me to find. So, I had to purchase a yarn spindle which works better for me. Lions should consider adding yarn spindles to collection. Hint hint hint !!!!
