TIME CONSUMING BUT WORTH IT

Mine didn't turn out exactly like the picture, but close. I opted to add buttons where the squares intersect just because when I joined them there was excess yarn for some reason. I like the buttons on it. Also have not gone around it in red yet - and might not. Overall I enjoyed working on it - just time consuming.

STARS AND MORE STARS!

It took me about 2 years to finish this only because its too hot to crochet in the summer. I forgot I had made some squares with one extra row that I meant to take out but forgot when I was sewing them together - that is why some don't match up. I opted to put buttons where the squares join. I tend to crochet tight so my squares look smaller than the picture or the stars are larger I don't know - but I like it the same! Heartland yarn washes up nice and very soft.
