Furry Neck Warmer

GAUGE:

8 sts + 19 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in slip st pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

1. Neck Warmer is worked in the round so that no sewing is needed!
2. One color is used per rnd. Colors are changed every 2 rnds. Sts are slipped with yarn in back (wyib) of work. With yarn in back of work refers to the work as it faces you.
3. Do not cut yarns when changing color, simply carry the unused colors up the inside of the piece, twisting working yarn around unused colors at the beg of rnds to secure the strands.


NECK WARMER
With A, cast on 108 sts.
Place marker for beg of rnd. Join by working the first st on the left hand needle with the working yarn from the right hand needle and being careful not to twist sts.
Rnds 1 and 2: With B, *(k3, sl 1 wyib); rep from * around.
Rnds 3 and 4: With A, *(sl 3 wyib, k1); rep from * around.
Rnds 5 and 6: With C, *(k1, sl 1 wyib, k2) ; rep from * around.
Rnds 7 and 8: With B, *(sl 1 wyib, k1, sl 2 wyib); rep from * around.
Rnds 9 and 10: With A, *(k3, sl 1 wyib); rep from * around.
Rnds 11 and 12: With C, *(sl 3 wyib, k1); rep from * around.
Rnds 13 and 14: With B, *(k1, sl 1 wyib, k2); rep from * around.
Rnds 15 and 16: With A, *(sl 1 wyib, k1, sl 2 wyib); rep from * around.
Rnds 17 and 18: With C, *(k3, sl 1 wyib); rep from * around.
Rnds 19 and 20: With B, *(sl 3 wyib, k1); rep from * around.
Rnds 21 and 22: With A, *(k1, sl 1 wyib, k2); rep from * around.
Rnds 23 and 24: With C, *(sl 1 wyib, k1, sl 2 wyib); rep from * around.
Rnds 25-38: Rep Rnds 1-14.
Bind off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.
