Diagonal Mesh Pullover
Lion Brand® Cotton-Ease®
GAUGE: 15 1/2 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Diagonal Mesh pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: PATTERN STITCH
Diagonal Mesh Pattern (over even number of sts)
Row 1 (WS): Purl.
Row 2: K1, *yo, k2tog; rep from * to last st, k1.
Rep Rows 1 and 2 for Diagonal Mesh pattern.
|
NOTES: 1. Pullover is worked in one piece beg at lower edge of front, working up and over shoulders, then down to lower edge of back.
2. Measure pieces along center, not along edges.
3. Diagonal Mesh pattern will create a diagonal 'pull' around Pullover, including the seams.
4. Work all cast ons and bind offs loosely.

| Diagonal Mesh Pullover Reviewed by GKohli on 2013-03-08 |

| Just finished making this. I really liked the look of this, esp. for a young woman, like me. However, the sleeves were wayyy too wide and wayyy too long. They were at least 6 inches past my wrist, so I'm thinking of stitching them up on the inside of the sleeve. Otherwise it looks really nice.
