16 stitches = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row)

SCARF
Cast on 22 stitches.
Work in Garter stitch (knit every row) until piece measures 72 in. (183 cm) from beginning.
Bind off.

FINISHING

A very simple and easy first project. Gets boring if you do it too much, though.
