STITCH EXPLANATION:
sc2tog (sc decrease) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook - 1 st decreased.
NOTES:
Yarn quantities are sufficient to make multiple magnets.
GHOST
Ch 4. Row 1: Work 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, 2 sc in last ch - 5 sc at the end of this row. Row 2: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in last sc - 7 sc at the end of this row. Row 3: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in last sc - 9 sc at the end of this row. Rows 4-8: Ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across. Row 9: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 6 sc, sc2tog. Row 10: Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in last sc. Rows 11 and 12: Repeat Rows 9 and 10. Edging: Ch 1, work sc evenly spaced around outside edge of piece; join with a sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
FINISHING
With black yarn, embroider French Knot eyes and straight st mouth. Weave in ends. Glue magnet to back of Ghost.

made the ghost and it was so quick and easy decided tho make the other magnet patterns as well (the skull, monster, spider, etc.).
used some for magnets, and backed others with felt and added a pin back for fun little lapel pins. good patterns, all turned out real cute.
