Friendship Bracelet

BRACELET
Cut a 25 in. (63.5 cm) long strand each of A and B. Knot strands together about 1 in. (2.5 cm) from one end.
Tape knotted end of strands to a table or other flat surface.
With A strand on left and B strand on right, *bring A over and across B to create a '4' shape. Bring A strand behind B strand and through the open space of the '4', to form a loop of A around the B strand. Pull gently to tighten strands. Repeat from * 9 more times.
Reverse the position of A and B, then repeat from * for a total of 10 times.
Continue to alternate A and B, repeating from * a total of 10 times with each color, until Bracelet is desired length.
Knot yarn strands, then trim strands about 1 in. (2.5 cm) from knot.

I used to make friendship bracelets at Girl Scout camp with a similar pattern when I was a kid. It sure brings back memories! I would love to see a few more friendship bracelet patterns, so I can make some for old time's sake.
