Felted Neck Muff
Lion Brand® Fishermen's Wool® - Vanna's Glamour®
GAUGE: 16 sts + 24 rows = about 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS), before felting.
EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL FOR THIS PROJECT.
The above gauge is provided as a reference - the felting process will affect the finished size. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Due to the nature of the felting process, the size of your Muff may not match the pattern measurements exactly.
2. Muff is worked in St st (k on RS, p on WS) following charts and from written instructions.
3. When working from charts, work from right to left on RS rows and from left to right on WS rows; carry color not in use across WS of work.
4. Yarn A is worked with a single strand; yarn B is worked with 2 strands held tog.
5. If desired, continue to rep Chart 6 until almost all yarn has been used for a longer muff.
