Inner Flower
With A and leaving a 10 in. (25.5 cm) tail, *ch 2, dc into first ch, ch 2, sl st back into first ch (petal made); rep from * 4 more times – 5 petals made.
Fasten off.
Outer Flower
Note: Outer Flower is worked in rnds; do not turn at the end of rnds.
With B, ch 3. Join with sl st in beg ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in ring, sl st in beg sc to join.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, work 2 sc in each sc around – 12 sc at the end of this rnd. Sl st in beg sc to join.
Rnd 3: Ch 7, sl st in first sc, *sl st in next sc, ch 7, sl st in same sc; rep from * around.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.
Layer Inner Flower onto Outer Flower. With yarn tail from Center, sew Center to Outer Flower.
With sewing needle and thread, sew safety pin or pin back to Flower. |
