Checkers Baby Blanket
Lion Brand® Babysoft®
GAUGE:
13 1/2 sts + 18 1/2 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in checkers pattern, with 2 strands of yarn held together.
EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL TO THIS PROJECT. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
1. Blanket is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together throughout.
2. Circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of sts. Work back and forth on circular needle as if working on straight needles.
