Knit Little Lamb
Lion Brand® Superwash Merino Cashmere
GAUGE: Exact gauge is not essential to this project.
STITCH EXPLANATION: Kfb (knit into front and then back)
An increase worked as follows:
1. Knit the next st through the front loop, but do not remove the st from your left hand needle.
2. Knit the same st once more, this time inserting your needle through the back loop of the st. You will have created 2 loops (sts) on your right hand needle.
3. Drop the st from your left hand needle - you have increased 1 st. |
NOTES: 1. Lamb is knit with small needles to create a dense fabric, suitable for a stuffed toy.
2. Head/Body is worked in Garter st (knit every row). C portion of Leg is worked in Garter st, B portion of Legs is worked in St st (k on RS, p on WS).
3. Head/Body and Legs are worked flat for ease in knitting.
4. To change color (on Legs), cut old color, leaving a tail of about 4 in. (10 cm). Begin working with new color, leaving a tail of about 4 in. (10 cm). When knitting is complete, knot tails together on WS of work. Tails will be hidden when piece is stuffed.

| I am knitting this as a quick project for my 3 years old's basket. Very quick and easy and very cute. I did knitting it in the round just to save the seaming.
