Mother Of The Bride Shawl

Lion Brand® Vanna's Choice® - Vanna's Glamour®

GAUGE:

12 sts + 5 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern with one strand each of A and B held tog. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NOTES:

1. Shawl begins at center back neck and is worked in rows down to lower edge.
2. Shawl is worked with 1 strand each of A and B held tog throughout the pattern.
3. A marker is placed in the center dc of the Shawl. Sts are worked in same way on both sides of center marker. Move the marker up as each row is completed.

Mother Of The Bride Shawl Reviewed by Dimitra Mavrogianni on 2011-11-14 ****
Did not have to pay attention at the photo at all since i had written explanation as well as a stich "map". For my lack of knowledge and experience as well as lack of patience, this is an easy to follow & fast pattern. Though adding more rows is essential so that a decent size will come out. Also, it is a rather yarn consuming pattern, but its worth it. Will make more! Thank you!
