New Year's Shawl
Lion Brand® Vanna's Glamour®
GAUGE: 18 sts + 6 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: | V-st (V-stitch) (Dc, ch 1, dc) in indicated st or sp. |
NOTES: 1. Shawl begins at center back neck.
2. The V-sts worked at the beginning, center, and end of each row increase the number of sts, to create the triangular shape.
3. A stitch marker is used to mark the ch-1 sp at center back. Take care to move the marker up to the ch-1 sp of center V-st as you work each row.

| I just completed this shawl using the moonstone yarn--it is definitely very elegant and will be so versatile for any season--I look forward to wearing it this Easter. The pattern was definitely self-explanatory.
