Baby Poncho

Lion Brand® Homespun®

GAUGE:

3 Blocks (3-dc) + 4 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Block pattern.
6 1/2 sc + 8 rows = 4 in. (10 cm).
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NOTES:

1. Poncho is worked in rnds beg at the neck, in a pattern of 3-dc Blocks.
2. Beg with Rnd 2, blocks are worked in the spaces between Blocks of the previous rnd.
3. Poncho is shaped with (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) corner, at both front and back.
4. Edging is worked around neck edge of completed poncho.

I love this pattern!! It worked up so quick and came out beautiful! I added my own ruffled edge which really made the look! I didn't have to alter the pattern at all! Even though the yarn calls for a K hook, remember that the pattern calls for a N hook! If you use the N hook the measurements are fine! :)
