This is beautiful. My grandmother had a printed copy from a store and I've worked this as my first blanket from a written pattern. I'm done with all of the stripes and working on the border. As a new crocheter, I am finding it difficult to determine how and how many sc go along the side edges of the project. I can't Seam to get it straight and as tight as the photo. I'll look more closely at this digital photo to see if I can figure it out. I just wish that a pattern listed as easy would have a little better instructions for finishing it.
I'm very pleased with the overall look so far though.
