Lion Brand® Baby Wool

GAUGE:

16 sts + 32 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row). When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Making a Gauge Swatch

NOTES:

1. Cardigan is knit in one piece, from cuff to cuff.
2. Crochet hook is used for single crochet trim around neck edge. If desired, you may embroider Blanket st around neck edge instead of working crochet trim.

Rose Lichen Cardigan And Hat Reviewed by Attitudegrrrl on 2013-07-08 *****
I am a novice knitter and am so pleased with how the sweater came out! I made it for my co-worker's baby shower. The baby is due in August so I made the second largest size since the baby won't be needing a sweater any time soon. The yarn was easy to work with and when knitted made a substantial fabric. The English Garden colorway is very peaceful and sweet.
Highly recommend this yarn as well as the pattern. Thank you LionBrand!!!!
