LEAF With B, work as for First Petal.
FINISHING Sew petals together at center to form Poinsettia. With C, embroider several French knots in center of Poinsettia. Sew Leaf to Poinsettia.

Lovely pattern, but not quite accurate. In nature, flowers almost always have an odd number of petals. I googled poinsettias, just to be sure. Most images I found had seven large petals, with five smaller inner petals. Flowers always look better if made with an odd number of petals. Otherwise, I really like this one. I am making several with a glitter yarn, to use on a scarf.
