New Lace Tunic

Lion Brand® LB Collection® Silk Mohair

GAUGE:

2 V-sts + 6 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NOTES:

Front and Back of Tunic are worked as rectangles. The side edges of Front and Back are sewed together to form side seams and cowl neck, leaving openings for armholes. The shoulders are shaped by seaming diagonal lines, through both thicknesses, from the top of the armhole openings and working toward the center of the piece.

New Lace Tunic Reviewed by Amy Beals on 2012-08-12 *****
I had so much fun crocheting this Tunic! The pattern was even portable enough to work on at the beach last week. The funny thing is... it still smells like SUN BLOCK!

I did find that it takes 13 times through Row 6 (once you get to the repeat rows 3-6) and then another row 3, to complete the 39 inches. Stretching the length of the piece as you go to keep the width at 20 inches.

I've had TONS of compliments and a co-worker even wants me to make one for her! Can't wait to start again!
