PINK LEMONADE
Glass
With A, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 4 sc in first ch. Place marker for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around – 8 sts.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st; rep from * around – 12 sts.
Rnd 4: Working in front loops only, sc in each st around.
Rnds 5-10: Sc in each st around.
Rnds 11-12: With B, sc in each st around.
Fasten off.
Lemon Slice
With C, ch 2.
Row 1: Work 4 sc in first ch.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, turn. 2 sc in each st around – 8 sts.
Fasten off.
Straw
Trim drinkng straw to about 2 1/2 in. (6.5 cm) long. Apply a small amount of glue to straw and wrap with D. Allow to dry.
FINISHING
Place Straw in glass. Stuff glass with scraps of A. Sew Lemon Slice to side of glass. Weave in ends. Glue magnet to back if Glass.
HOT DOG
Dog
With E, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 4 sc in first ch. Place marker for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around – 8 sts.
Rnds 3-9: Sc in each st around. Begin stuffing Hot Dog with scraps of E.
Rnd 10: Sc2tog around – 4 sts.
Fasten off.
Bun (make 2)
With B, ch 10.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, turn. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, work 3 sc in first ch, sc along opposite side of ch to end, work 2 sc in last ch.
Rnd 2: Sc in each st around, working 3 sc in center st at each end.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Sew Buns together. Sew Hot Dog to inside of Bun. Glue a strand of E to Hot Dog for Ketchup. Weave in ends. Glue magnet to back of Bun.
ICE CREAM CONE
Cone
With E, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 4 sc in first ch. Place marker for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 3: 2 sc in each st around – 8 sts.
Rnd 4: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st; rep from * around – 12 sts.
Rnds 6-8: Sc in each st around.
Fasten off.
Ice Cream
With A, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 4 sc in first ch. Place marker for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around – 8 sts.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st; rep from * around – 12 sts.
Rnds 4-6: Sc in each st around.
Rnd 7: *Sl st in next st, 4 sc in next st; rep from * around.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Stuff Cone with scraps of E.
With D, embroider a large French knot on top of Ice Cream. Stuff Ice Cream Scoop with scraps of A and sew to Cone. Weave in ends. Glue magnet to back of Cone.
CORN ON THE COB
Corn
With C, work as for Hot Dog, stuffing with scraps of C before fastening off.
Butter
With B, ch 4.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across – 3 sts.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st across.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Sew Butter to Corn. Weave in ends. Glue magnet to back of Corn.
WATERMELON SLICE
With D, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around – 12 sts.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st; rep from * around – 18 sts.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts; rep from * around – 24 sts.
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts; rep from * around – 30 sts.
Rnd 6: With A, *2 sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts; rep from * around – 36 sts.
Rnd 7: With F, *2 sc in next st, sc in next 5 sts; rep from * around – 42 sts. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Fold Slice in half and stuff with scraps of D. Sew curved edge closed. With G, embroider straight stitch ‘seeds’ of D. Weave in ends. Glue magnet to back of Slice.
