With 1 strand each of A and B held tog, ch 69.
Row 1 (RS): Hdc in 9th ch from hook *ch 3, sk next 3 ch, hdc in next ch; rep from * across.
Row 2: Ch 6 (counts as hdc, ch 4), turn, *sk next ch-sp, hdc in next hdc, ch 4; rep from * across, hdc in 5th ch of beg ch-16 ch-sps.
Row 3: Ch 6, turn, *sk next ch-sp, hdc in next hdc, ch 4; rep from * across, hdc in 2nd ch of turning ch.
Rows 4-7: Ch 7, turn, *sk next ch-sp, hdc in next hdc, ch 5; rep from * across, hdc in 2nd ch of turning ch.
Rows 8-10: Ch 8, turn, *sk next ch-sp, hdc in next hdc, ch 6; rep from * across, hdc in 2nd ch of turning ch.
Rows 11-13: Ch 9, turn, *sk next ch-sp, hdc in next hdc, ch 7; rep from * across, hdc in 2nd ch of turning ch.
Row 14: Ch 10, turn, *sk next ch-sp, hdc in next hdc, ch 8; rep from * across, hdc in 2nd ch of turning ch.

FINISHING
Front Edging
From wrong side, with 1 strand each of A and B held tog, join yarn with sc in left front corner. Work sc evenly spaced along left front edge. Fasten off. Rep along right front edge.
Top and Lower Edging
From right side, with 2 strands of C held tog, join yarn with sc in front neck edge. Work sc evenly spaced along neck edge. Fasten off. Rep along lower edge.
Ties
Cut 2 strands each of A 24 in. (61 cm) long. Fold one strand in half. Secure folded end around doorknob. Twist other end until taut and yarn begins to twist back on itself. Release end from doorknob. Bring ends together and let cord twist on itself, smoothing to even the twist. Knot ends. Rep with second strand of yarn. Sew a Tie to each end of neck opening.
Pompom (make 2)
Following package instructions, with 1 strand each of A and B held tog, make 2 pompoms. Sew a Pompom to end of each Tie.
