POUCH With A, cast on 43 stitches.
Row 1: With A, knit.
Row 2: With A, purl.
Rows 3 and 4: With A, rep Rows 1 and 2.
Rows 5 and 6: With B, rep Rows 1 and 2.
Rows 7 and 8: With C, rep Rows 1 and 2.
Rows 9 and 10: Rep Rows 5 and 6.
Rep Rows 1-10 until piece measures about 9 in. (23 cm) from beginning.
Bind off.
FINISHING Fold piece in half horizontally. Seam side and lower edge.
Twisted Cord Cut a 45 in. (114.5 cm) length of C; fold in half. Secure folded end around doorknob. Twist other end until taut and yarn begins to twist back on itself. Release end from doorknob. Bring ends together and let cord twist on itself, smoothing to even the twist. Knot ends. Pin a large safety pin to one end of cord and weave through Pouch about 2 in. (5 cm) below top edge.
With A and B, make 2 small pom-poms. Sew a pom-pom to each end of cord.
Weave in ends.

If only you would have sent this pattern earlier! I have two granddaughters that I could have used this little bag for their nail polish and Milk Duds.
Really cute! Will save pattern for next year or make it in different colors for gift card holders for their birthdays and Christmas.
