ENVELOPE
With A or B, ch 26.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across – 25 sts.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st across.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures about 8 in. (20.5 cm) from beginning.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Bring 3 corners together at center to make Envelope. Sew corners and seams.
Edging
With wrong side facing, join contrast color A or B at edge of Envelope ‘flap’. Slip st evenly along flap.
Next Row: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st around. Fasten off.
Weave in ends.

| I made these valentine's envelopes too! So cute and fast! In the second row of trim, I chained 4 stitches around the point of the flap instead of 4 sc, and used that loop as a button hole. Thanks for the great pattern! (PS I know that it is a valentine pattern but it's for my 20-month-old boy, he loves to say "blue" so I wanted to make something blue for him!)
