BODY (make 2)
With A, ch 27. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across - 26 sts. Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in each st across; change to B in last st - 25 sts. Rows 3-5: Ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in each st across Row 6: Rep Row 5, change to A in last st. Row 7: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. Row 8: Rep Row 7, change to B in last st. Rows 9-26: Rep Rows 3-8 - 9 sts. Rows 27-30: Rep Rows 3-6 - 5 sts. Rows 31-33: With A, ch 1, turn, sc2tog, sc in each st across - 2 sc at end of Row 33. Fasten off.
FINS (make 2)
With A, ch 2. Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch; place a marker to indicate beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed. Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around - 12 sts. Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st; rep from * around - 18 sts.
Fasten off.
TAIL FIN
With A, ch 2. Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch; place a marker to indicate beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed. Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sts. Rnd 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next st; rep from * around - 18 sts. Rnd 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 2 sts; rep from * around - 24 sts. Rnd 5: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 3 sts; rep from * around - 30 sts. Rnd 6: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 4 sts; rep from * around - 36 sts. FINISHING
Following package directions, attach a safety eye to each Body piece. Hold Body pieces with wrong sides together. Working through both thicknesses, join A with slip st and sc around to join, working 2 sc in each corner. Before closing final edge, stuff Body. Sew a Fin to each side of Body. Fold Tail Fin in half to make a half circle, lightly stuff and sew closed. Sew center of curved edge of Tail Fin to wider end of Body. Weave in ends.
