Honest Warmth Shawl

Lion Brand® Homespun®

GAUGE:

9 sts + 17 rows = 4 in (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NOTES:

Shawl is knit on circular needle to accommodate large number of sts. Work back and forth in rows on circular needle as if working on straight needles.

Please note this pattern is knit bottom to top.

SHAWL
Cast on 3 sts.
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2: K1, yarn over, k to end.
Repeat Row 2 until you have 153 sts.
Bind off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.

I love this pattern. It looks so elegant the way the edges with the yarn over design end up. Have made one in Wildfire and now almost finished with one in Sierra. I have yarn in Herb Garden and am itching to start a shawl with it. I knit or crochet when my husband and I go somewhere in the car. I'm his knitting (crocheting) navigator. :-)
