Honest Warmth Shawl
Lion Brand® Homespun®
GAUGE: 9 sts + 17 rows = 4 in (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: Shawl is knit on circular needle to accommodate large number of sts. Work back and forth in rows on circular needle as if working on straight needles.
Please note this pattern is knit bottom to top.

SHAWL
Cast on 3 sts.
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2: K1, yarn over, k to end.
Repeat Row 2 until you have 153 sts.
Bind off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends.

| This was my very first project. I made mine with corinthian and long fringe. I wore it to a reinactment even in the fall for warmth and was beseiged by friends wanting me to make one. They loved it. I made one for my sister when she had her first child and she said to my mother "I never wear these!?". Aflter cuddling up in it once with the baby she was hooked. It is so soft and comfy and I love the homespun colors. It's a great gift! I can't wait to try someone's suggestion to put eyelets on the top row to finge alll 3 sides! This time it's delft! We all need at least 2 or 3 colors, right?
