Tender Shawl

Lion Brand® Homespun®

GAUGE:

10 stitches = 4 in. (10 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row) BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

SHAWL
Cast on 48 stitches. Work in Garter stitch (knit every row) for about 70 in. (178 cm). Bind off.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.

I knitted this shawl and also see that you have it in a crochet pattern as well. It is so incredibly easy and unbelievable warm. I added fringe to the ends and the homespun frays nicely.
It is a great beginner pattern.
