Featherweight Granny Scarf

Lion Brand® LB Collection® Silk Mohair

GAUGE:

1 Granny Square = 4 x 4 in. (10 x 10 cm) When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Making a Gauge Swatch

NOTES:

To change color at end of rnd, work joining sl st as follows: insert hook in joining st, yarn over with new color, draw through all loops on hook to complete sl st.

Featherweight Granny Scarf Reviewed by Heather Fleck on 2009-10-08 *****
This scarf is super easy and quick. It makes a great gift! It looks much more expensive than it is to make, too. And it has a lot of potential for different color combinations. I would probably make this scarf again if I needed to come up with a quick gift idea.
