POSY MOTIF (make 9 in colors as desired)
With first color, ch 4. Join with sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in ring. Fasten off first color.
Rnd 2: Join second color with sl st in any st, ch 1, work 3 sc in each st around. Fasten off second color.
Rnd 3: Join third color with sl st in any st, ch 1, *dc in next st, tr and dc in next st, ch1, sl st in next sc, rep from * around (6 petals), sl st in beg st. Fasten off.
CIRCLE MOTIF (make 8 in colors as desired)
Ch 4. Join with sl st to form a ring. Rnd 1: Work 7 sc in ring, join with sl st in beg st. Fasten off.
FINISHING
Beg and ending with a Posy and alternating Motifs, sew Posies and Circles into a strip.
Tassel (make 2)
Wrap B around 3 in. (7.5 cm) cardboard 20 times. Cut a piece of yarn 10 in. (25.5 cm) long and thread doubled onto large-eyed blunt needle. Insert needle under all strands at upper edge of cardboard. Pull tightly and knot securely near strands. Cut yarn loops at lower edge of cardboard. Cut a 10 in. (25.5. cm) length of A and wrap tightly around loops 1 in. (2.5 cm) below top knot to form Tassel neck. Knot securely; thread ends onto needle and weave ends to center of Tassel. Trim Tassel ends evenly.
Cord (make 2)
Cut a 50 in. (127 cm) length of each A and B. Knot strands tog at one end and secure this end to a doorknob. Twist strands clockwise until they are tightly twisted. Keeping strands taut, fold twisted length in half, allowing strands to twist into themselves.
Sew a Cord to each end of Flower/Circle strip. Sew a Tassel to the end of each Cord.
Weave in ends.
