Nature's Bounty Afghan

Lion Brand® Vanna's Choice®

GAUGE:

18 sts + 14 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) over pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

picot: Ch 3, sl st in last sc made.

NOTES:

Afghan is worked in Tunisian crochet (also known as afghan stitch), in which each row is worked twice. In the first pass, worked in one direction, loops are added to the hook; in the return pass, worked in the opposite direction, loops are worked off the hook.

Nature's Bounty Afghan Reviewed by gay carless on 2010-02-05 *****
I found tutorials from the internet on how to tunisian crochet and how to cross stitch.
Once I figured that out it took me 3 months to completely finish the afghan. It is absolutely beautiful.
