Cascading Colors Baby Blankie
Lion Brand® Jiffy® - Cotton-Ease® (new)
GAUGE: 8 stitches and 10 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side) with 2 strands of yarn held together. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: Afghan is knit with 2 strands of yarn held together throughout.

| Oh, my goodness! I made this blanket in one day, and I had a lot of interruptions! It is so cute, so easy, washable... the perfect gift for a baby shower. I plan to make one for myself when I get pregnant too! However, do note that once you get done and take a look, there is a lot of pink in it, so you may want to change the striping pattern to more rows of blue to suit a boy if you are going for traditional colors.
