Easter Basket Reviewed by Treva Mauch on 2009-04-03
This turned out very nice but I think the handle is too long. Also I did not make the handle separately but instead of cutting thread at end of basket round, I chained how may stitches I wanted for the handle, joined on opposite of basket, turned and sc in each chain. Then if you want the handle wider, you can turn work and do another row of sc if you want. Also I crocheted a mini version of this in crochet thread (size 10 knitcrosheen) and a size 7 crochet hook and it turned out very cute. Measures approximately 1 inch high and 2 1/4 inches wide at top of basket.
