Rnd 30 (Eyelet Rnd): Ch 3, skip first 2 sc, *sc in each of next 3 sc, ch 2, skip next 2 sc; rep from * 14 times more, end sc in each of last 3 sc, join with sl st in first ch of beg ch. Rnd 31: Ch 1, sc in each sc, working 2 sc in each ch-2 space around - 80 sc. Rnds 32-33: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join with sl st in beg ch. Fasten off. FINISHING Cord With A, ch 2, join with sl st in beg ch. Work in a continuous spiral as follows: *work 1 sl st in next st; rep from * until Cord measures 60 in. (152.5 cm). Fasten off. Weave cord through eyelets of Rnd 30, with both cord ends emerging on right side. Mark center point beween cords. Pull cord ends through from right to wrong side of Backpack at center point just below B stripe. Knot cord ends securely on inside of Backpack. Weave in ends. |
